Do you have the charm, creativity and talent to enhance the Splore Festival Marketplace?
We are looking for premium vendors of local foods, damn fine coffee and ethical crafts & goods to trade at Splore.
22 - 25 February 2024 at Tāpapakanga Regional Park
Splore Festival is an annual event, where an up-for-it, conscious audience of ten thousand enthusiastic, switched-on humans gather to make Tāpapakanga Regional Park their home for up to four days. Splore is an eclectic, kaleidoscope feast of the finest festival experiences, music, art, performance, culture and of course, delicious food. All this is delivered in alignment with the Splore kaupapa of contributing to the well-being of our planet by creating transformational experiences served up as the ultimate beach party. Sustainability is at the core of the Splore experience, and all traders are invited to join the mission to cut out waste, minimise carbon emissions and conserve precious resources while offering ethical, authentic products that nourish and enrich our community.
Site fees, Crew tickets, Parking, Postponement
Vendors will pay a site fee and purchase individual vendor crew tickets for every worker coming onsite.
The site fee is paid when signing the vendor contract. It is then up to the vendor to purchase the crew tickets before 10 Feb, directly from iTICKET using access codes provided by Splore .
Vendor crew ticket cost: $175 + booking fees. (Every worker must have a Vendor Crew ticket to enter the festival).
Site fees include access to electricity, waste management, potable water stations and shared food chillers.
Vendor delivery vehicle and passenger vehicle parking passes will be issued on the basis of 1 parking pass for every 2 workers. Please plan your travel & rideshare to reduce greenhouse emissions and the number of vehicles jamming up the site. If you require more parking spaces you can buy them when you are buying the crew tickets. Each vendor will be issued one vendor vehicle pass to for access to their site for restocking at specified times.
Splore 2024 has a contingency postponement date of 21- 24 March 2024. We’d appreciate that vendors be available for both dates, should a postponement be required due to circumstances beyond our control.
If the event is not able to go ahead, vendors will receive a refund of any site fees and value of purchased vendor crew tickets.
A detailed Splore Trader manual with key information and guidelines will be sent to all shortlisted applicants.
Key dates:
25 Oct: First successful applicants are notified.
15 Nov: Contracts & site fee invoices issued.
20 Dec: Signed contracts and site fee payments due.
31 Jan: Pre-event vendors briefing, all must attend in person or online, 6pm.
10 Feb : Crew Tickets purchase cut off date.
22 Feb: Pack in start 09:00
22 Feb: All upper site vendors open and trading from 14:00
23 Feb: Splore starts 08:00, all vendors trading by 10:00
25 Feb: Splore ends 17:00
26 Feb: Pack out complete 15:00
Pre-event Vendor Briefing
A pre-event briefing will be held at Splore HQ in central Auckland, with an option to join online for those who can not be there in person. The meeting will cover all the most important information, and give us an opportunity to answer your questions. We want to make sure that we’re all on the same page with regards to our sustainability mission, waste minimisation and sorting, water & energy consumption, and general conduct. We expect that all participating vendors attend this briefing, either online or in person.
