Splore is a biennial three day summer festival with a plethora of  of outstanding international and local music, art, performance, culture, community and more staged in an exquisite coastal park one hour south of Auckland, New Zealand.

This summer we are filling in the gap year (summer of 2009) and transporting an aspect of the Splore festival into the heart of Auckland City (see Latest News below)

Splore 2010 will be staged again Jan/Feb 2010. Dates will be announced in early 2009 with earlybird tickets on sale by February 2009.

This is it folks - the tastiest morsel of Splore 08 is being transported into the city for your partying convenience.

Splore presents the Living Lounge, 26 Feb - 1 March 2009 with special guests The Cuban Brothers (UK) - yes they're back - the raucously funny and outrageously talented hit music/comedy/dance act from Splore 06 returns along with the Butterfly Zoo's terrific new line-up of red hot fidel-icious cabaret all-stars. 
You too can be part of these legendary evenings by dressing to excess in the full-splendour of 1970's fashion as our Scarface-d retro Cubanisto audience.

The Living Lounge will be visually alluring and themed to thrill and located in Western Park, Ponsonby Rd, Auckland- you won't be able to miss it (and why would you want to) as its fine stretchy peaks beckon you to indulge in the slightly riskier side of life. More acts to be announced soon.
